Oakville African Violet Society
The Oakville African Violet Society is a community-based organization dedicated to promoting and supporting the cultivation of African Violets and Gesneriads. As a member of the Oakville Community Group Affiliations (CORE) program, the society offers educational and recreational activities to its members and the community. Meetings are held on the last Wednesday of every month from September to May, and visitors are always welcome. The society provides a platform for members to share knowledge, showcase their plants, and participate in various activities, including project plants and gardening tips. With its focus on community engagement and plant cultivation, the Oakville African Violet Society aims to foster a sense of belonging among its members and promote the beauty of African Violets and Gesneriads.
