Outward Bound Canada
The Outward Bound Canada Training Academy for Outdoor Professionals is a national organization dedicated to developing the next generation of outdoor leaders through immersive workshops, outdoor journeys, and certifications. Funded by the Government of Canada's Sectoral Initiatives Program, this fully-funded and free program fosters inclusivity and diversity in the Canadian outdoor job market. With two levels of training and various certifications, the academy empowers participants to develop essential skills and competencies. By valuing diversity and celebrating complex identities, Outward Bound Canada creates a community where everyone belongs. The academy is committed to reconciling relationships with Indigenous peoples and promoting reconciliation.
