RYAN RUSSELL MEMORIAL PIPE BAND
The Ryan Russell Memorial Pipe Band is a youth organization in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, fostering Highland piping and drumming skills through mentorship and community service, honoring the memory of Sergeant Ryan Russell, who was tragically killed in the line of duty in 2011. Led by Pipe Major Brian Urkosky, the band provides professional instruction, leadership training, and performance opportunities for its members. With a focus on preserving the art of Highland piping and drumming, the Ryan Russell Memorial Pipe Band aims to inspire and develop the next generation of pipers and drummers. The band competes in local and international competitions, including the World Pipe Band Championships, and performs at community events.
