SoCirC
SoCirC is a Toronto-based, charitable non-profit organization that utilizes a social circus approach to provide social support, personal development, and access to circus arts for young people aged 14-29 who face barriers to participation. By fostering a sense of community, trust, and creativity, SoCirC aims to empower individuals to build self-esteem, communication skills, and relationships, while promoting artistic expression and physical activity. With a focus on inclusivity and autonomy, SoCirC offers free workshops and programs that cater to diverse needs and interests, providing a safe space for participants to grow and thrive. Through partnerships with community organizations and schools, SoCirC seeks to create a ripple effect of positive change, promoting leadership development and social responsibility. By embracing the principles of social circus, SoCirC empowers young people to become leaders, teachers, and change-makers in their communities.
