Teaching Awareness through Puppetry
Teaching Awareness through Puppetry (TAP) is an educational awareness program that teaches children in grades K-6 about accepting differences, friendship strategies, and mental wellness skills, aiming to raise a generation that values diversity, acceptance, and inclusion. As an approved partner with the Toronto District School Board, TAP delivers curriculum-based content and follow-up resources to help teachers achieve their classroom goals. Utilizing inquiry-based education techniques, TAP promotes healthy dialogue and learning through its engaging puppets. By breaking down barriers, TAP enables students to have rich conversations and learn about various topics. TAP offers workshops and resources for teachers and students, promoting mindfulness and lifelong success.
