Urban Squash Toronto
Urban Squash Toronto is a charitable organization dedicated to empowering underserved youth in the Jane-Finch corridor through intensive educational programming, squash training, mentorship, and character development, aiming to improve academic performance, foster a growth mindset, and promote healthy active living among its students. Founded in 2010, the organization has grown to support over 100 students from 8 local schools, with a strong focus on post-secondary education and career readiness. With a proven track record of success, Urban Squash Toronto has achieved impressive results, including a 94% post-secondary attendance rate and 100% high school graduation rate. The organization is modelled after the highly successful Squash Education Alliance, with a mission to inspire and empower young people to reach their full potential. By providing a supportive and inclusive environment, Urban Squash Toronto helps students develop into healthy, civic-minded, and educated adults.
