Uxbridge Historical Centre
The Uxbridge Historical Centre is a heritage organization established in 1972, preserving the history and heritage of Uxbridge Township through exhibitions, programs, and collections, located on a 5-acre site overlooking the Uxbridge Valley and Oak Ridges Moraine. The centre connects audiences with the rich heritage of the area through artifact collection, preservation, and interpretation. With a mission to share the history of Uxbridge and its former Townships, the UHC aims to be a heritage leader and community resource. The centre is situated on the traditional territory of the Huron-Wendat, Haudenosaunee, Mississauga, and Chippewa people. The Uxbridge Historical Centre offers various programs and services, including weddings and rentals.
