Geekenders
Geekenders Performing Arts Society is a Vancouver-based, not-for-profit collective of theatre nerds and performance geeks, dedicated to creating inclusive and award-winning productions since 2013. The organization combines nostalgia, memes, and iconic pop culture in its performances, which include burlesque, circus, comedy, drag, variety, classes, and immersive events. As a geeks-only society, Geekenders aims to foster a sense of community among like-minded individuals. Operating primarily on the traditional territories of the xwməθkwÉ™yĚ“É™m, SkwxwĂş7mesh, and SÉ™lĚ“ĂlwÉ™taĘ” peoples, Geekenders honors the original caretakers of these lands. By embracing geek culture, the organization promotes a culture of acceptance and inclusivity.
