Maki Maki is a renowned bellydance artist and instructor with a captivating stage presence, boasting a decade-long career spanning across Canada, the US, Japan, Vietnam, and Indonesia. As an award-winning choreographer and performer, Maki has showcased her talents at prestigious events such as the Safar Middle Eastern Dance and Music Conference and the International Bellydance Conference of Canada. With a background in ballet, jazz, and Rhythmic Gymnastics, Maki brings a unique teaching approach to her classes, offering a modern take on traditional Middle Eastern folkloric dance. As the founder and director of Noor Dance Co, Maki collaborates with fellow instructor Negma to provide bellydance classes and performances in Vancouver and Victoria. With a passion for dance that spans over 10 years, Maki continues to captivate audiences with her mesmerizing performances.
