PACIFIC BLUEGRASS & OLD-TIME MUSIC SOCIETY
The Pacific Bluegrass and Old-Time Music Society is a not-for-profit organization based in Vancouver, British Columbia, dedicated to promoting Bluegrass and Old Time music through regular jams, workshops, concerts, and events. As a volunteer-run organization, PBOMS welcomes new members and offers various events, including jams, concerts, and workshops. With approximately 400 members, the society hosts regular events every Monday from September to June at The ANZA Club and occasionally at Trout Lake in East Vancouver. Membership options are available, with annual fees ranging from $20 to $50, and drop-in fees for jams at the ANZA Club. The society aims to preserve the tradition of acoustic stringed instruments in Bluegrass and Old Time music.
