Railtown Theatre & Film Society

Railtown Theatre & Film Society is a registered non-profit organization dedicated to providing acting classes, coaching, and community events, founded in July 2012 by Artistic Director John Cassini. Located in Vancouver, BC, the organization offers a unique approach to acting, emphasizing the importance of technique being internalized and allowing for unconscious results. With a focus on overcoming the notion of regularity and striving for excellence, Railtown Theatre & Film Society aims to empower actors to reach their full potential. The organization respectfully acknowledges the traditional territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm and səl̓ilwətaɁɬ Nations, and is committed to supporting the local community. By providing a platform for artistic growth and development, Railtown Theatre & Film Society seeks to inspire and nurture the next generation of actors.
