Upstart & Crow

Upstart & Crow is a not-for-profit creative studio and literary incubator dedicated to sharing stories and supporting the literary arts in Vancouver and beyond. The organization develops transformative programs, hosts conversations, and launches projects that enable storytellers to create and share exciting new work. By partially funding initiatives through bookstores championing independent presses and underdiscovered works, Upstart & Crow fosters a community of writers and artists. The studio offers various workshops, events, and programs, including zine-making, writing, and climate-focused initiatives. Through its work, Upstart & Crow aims to inspire creative expression and promote positive change.
