Vancouver Sacred Harp

The Vancouver Sacred Harp Singing Community is a welcoming group that brings together people of all voices, abilities, and backgrounds to experience the joy of singing together, with no fees, membership, or ideological requirements. Founded on the traditional American music style of Sacred Harp, the community meets monthly to sing and learn the musical notation and style that has been used to teach thousands of Americans to sing for over 200 years. With a focus on community and camaraderie, the group invites all to join in and share in the powerful and joyful experience of singing. The community is open to all, regardless of religious or non-religious persuasions. Delicious homemade treats are also available at each singing session.
