Canadian Iaido Association
The Canadian Iaido Association is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the traditional Japanese martial art of Iaido in Canada, fostering cultural exchange between Japan and North America, and preserving the time-honoured schools of kobudo Iaido. Established in 1993, the organization aims to develop awareness, centeredness, sincerity, and mental and physical harmony through the practice of traditional sword techniques. As a registered charity, the Canadian Iaido Association promotes Iaido through seminars, demonstrations, and instructor training, while also recognizing and rewarding the achievements of its members. With a focus on community and tradition, the organization seeks to transmit the art of Iaido to future generations. Through its efforts, the Canadian Iaido Association has become a leading voice in the promotion of Iaido in Canada.
