Kimura Shukokai Karate Canada West

Kimura Shukokai Karate Canada West is a martial arts organization offering a style accessible to all ages, skill levels, and body types, with classes running year-round at various locations on southern Vancouver Island. Led by NCCP-certified instructors, the organization focuses on character building, self-confidence, physical fitness, and camaraderie, while also providing opportunities for students to compete in local, provincial, and international tournaments. As an affiliate of Kimura Shukokai International, Karate BC, Karate Canada, and the World Karate Federation, Kimura Shukokai Karate Canada West offers students a comprehensive martial arts experience. With a rich lineage tracing back to Anko Itosu and Shigeru Kimura, the organization is dedicated to teaching the Shukokai style of karate. Under the guidance of Chief Instructor Sensei David Bentley, a 7th Dan Black Belt with 38 years of training and 36 years of instruction.
