Society for Kids at Tennis
The Society for Kids at Tennis is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing free tennis lessons to underserved children and youth, promoting physical activity, social connection, and emotional well-being. Founded in 2013, the organization has grown exponentially, surpassing 16,000 participants to date. With a focus on serving children from low-income families and those with cognitive or physical developmental disabilities, KATS aims to improve the overall well-being of its young participants. The organization has received numerous awards for its dedication to the community, including the Presidents Award from Sports BC and the Tennis British Columbia Excellence Awards. By providing free tennis lessons and equipment, KATS is making a positive impact on the lives of thousands of children across British Columbia.
