WILDERNESS SURVIVAL 101 HOME REGISTER THE TEAM 2018
Survival 101 is a hands-on summer camp designed for children aged 8 and above, teaching essential survival skills such as starting fires, building shelters, navigation, and water purification. This day camp offers a unique opportunity for children to develop critical thinking, teamwork, and perseverance while learning a life-long and healthy hobby. Led by a certified Red Cross instructor, the camp prioritizes safety with adult volunteers and limited group sizes to ensure maximum hands-on experience. The camp takes place at the Laurel Creek Conservation Area in Waterloo, Ontario, and costs $200 for the 5-day program. With a focus on practical skills and outdoor education, Survival 101 aims to empower children to become self-sufficient and confident in the wilderness.
