International Police Hockey
The International Police Hockey Tournament is a premier event that brings together 100 police hockey teams from across Canada and the USA, featuring divisions for all abilities, including elite, competitive, and recreational divisions. Established in 1961, the tournament is a 100% not-for-profit organization that focuses on fellowship, fun, and service to communities. The event has raised over $486,500 for various charities since 2009, including the Law Enforcement Torch Run and local hospitals. The tournament is hosted by the Durham Regional Police Service and features a two-day tournament spanning 12 ice pads, 300 hotel rooms, and numerous social venues. The event is a testament to the dedication and camaraderie of law enforcement personnel.
