Hockey For Hospice is a annual charity event that brings together approximately 2,000 young hockey players aged 4-14 from across the region for a fun and well-organized tournament. Held from December 27th to 29th, the event has raised over $5.2 million for Hospice since its inception, with a record-breaking $587,780 raised in 2023. The tournament not only provides a platform for children to participate in hockey but also teaches them the importance of giving back to their community from a young age. The event is sanctioned by OMHA, OWHA, and other local hockey associations, and all proceeds support the Hospice of Windsor & Essex County Inc. through the support of dedicated volunteers and generous donors.
