Rosamunde Summer Music Academy
The Rosamunde Summer Music Academy & Festival is a renowned organization dedicated to providing a high-calibre musical learning experience for string players of all ages, from 6 to 19 and university-aged students. Founded in 2011, the academy offers a range of programs, including the 10-day Core program, Mini Rosie program, and Pre-Professional program, all designed to foster physical and mental well-being, musical and technical abilities, and ensemble skills. With a faculty of outstanding performers and teachers, Rosamunde aims to develop the musical talents of its students while promoting a supportive and exacting teaching style. The academy is committed to reconciliation and Indigenous rights, acknowledging the ancestral lands of the Indigenous people of Manitoba and supporting the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples. Located at Canadian Mennonite University, Rosamunde offers a unique and enriching musical experience for students of all ages.
