WASAC
WASAC is a registered charitable not-for-profit organization that focuses on leadership and mentorship skills for Indigenous children and youth through sport, recreational, and cultural programs. Since its inception in 1999, WASAC has grown from a small operation with two coaches to one of Canada’s largest employers for Indigenous young people, helping thousands of children and youth annually. The organization's mission is to remove barriers and provide opportunities that foster personal growth and community engagement. By emphasizing mentorship and cultural values, WASAC creates a welcoming environment where participants can thrive. What sets WASAC apart is its commitment to Indigenous culture and its dedication to empowering the next generation through meaningful experiences.
