Winnipeg Chito-Ryu Karate is a traditional Japanese style of Karate that offers self-defense training and excellent physical conditioning, helping students develop self-confidence, focus, and respect for themselves and others. With a focus on well-rounded fighters, the school teaches striking, blocking, throws, joint locks, and defensive techniques, as well as sport karate opportunities through Karate Manitoba. Led by Sensei Alex, a certified instructor with a strong background in the style, the school provides a safe and respectful environment for students of all ages and skill levels. Winnipeg Chito-Ryu Karate is proud to be a part of the Karate Manitoba, Karate Canada, and World Karate Federation communities, offering opportunities for students to compete provincially, nationally, and internationally.
