Learn more about disc golf
Disc golf is a sport similar to traditional golf, but instead of hitting a ball into a hole, players throw a flying disc (often called a "Frisbee") into a series of target baskets. The objective is to complete each hole in the fewest throws possible. Disc golf courses consist of a series of holes, typically 18, with each hole featuring a tee pad, an established fairway, and a target basket. Players start each hole by throwing from the tee and aim to navigate the disc through various obstacles like trees, water, and hills. Like golf, disc golf is played in a series of rounds, and scoring is based on the number of throws it takes to reach the target. It’s a fun, low-cost, and accessible sport enjoyed in parks and dedicated courses worldwide. Disc golf emphasizes accuracy, strategy, and control, and has grown in popularity with both casual and competitive players.
