Guelph Sports Hall of Fame
The Guelph Sports Hall of Fame is a non-profit organization established in 1992 by the City of Guelph and the Kiwanis Club of Guelph, recognizing and honouring the achievements of Guelph individuals and teams who have made a major contribution to the development and advancement of sports in Guelph. The organization is managed by a Board of Directors and funded through annual induction dinners and grants from the City of Guelph, with a public display of inductees' achievements at the Sleeman Centre. Each year, the hall inducts new members, including athletes, builders, and officials, who are celebrated at the Kiwanis Sports Celebrity Dinner. The Guelph Sports Hall of Fame promotes the unique sports heritage of Guelph and provides a platform for individuals and teams to be recognized for their outstanding contributions to sports.
