The St. Augustine CHS STREAM Focus Program is an interdisciplinary approach to inquiry and problem-based learning that fosters critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and communication skills through real-world challenges and the engineering design process. Guided by Catholic social teachings, the program integrates various technologies, including programming, robotics, and design projects, to prepare students for the future. With a focus on personal and academic achievement, STREAM encourages students to excel in academics, leadership, and personal growth, offering a pathway to international awards. The program consists of academic and non-academic components, including service, physical activity, and experiential learning opportunities. By combining these elements, STREAM aims to develop well-rounded, responsible, and compassionate citizens.
