Volunteer Victoria
Volunteer Victoria is a registered charity that inspires volunteers, supports volunteer-led groups and projects, and provides tools and training in governance, volunteer management, and non-profit management, fostering community building across Southern Vancouver Island. As a volunteer centre, they live, work, and volunteer on the traditional territories of the Songhees, Esquimalt, and W̱sáneć Nations, acknowledging the leadership and stewardship of the Coast Salish people. Volunteer Victoria is committed to holding courageous space for inclusivity, respect, and truth, reconciliation, and decolonization. With the support of Lieutenant Governor Janet Austin, they strive to create opportunities for community engagement and volunteerism. By connecting volunteers with resources and training, Volunteer Victoria empowers individuals to make a positive impact in their community.
